Telegram Messenger Windows Phone app to get call functionality
The Telegram Messenger Preview app has updated on Windows phone devices with a new menu slot named "Calls". While there's nothing under that label right now, it does suggest that the call functionality will be launching soon, especially since the Telegram desktop app recently updated with the feature.
This Preview version of the app is used to test features with a smaller userbase before rolling them out to the general public in the regular Telegram Messenger Windows phone app. The addition of a phone call feature will go a long way in helping Telegram Messenger compete with rival chat/phone apps such as Line, WhatsApp, and Microsoft's Skype.
