Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Devices Can Now Be Up To 9 Inches

If you're using Windows 10, there is already a program on your computer called Windows Feedback.

It could be worse though, as Gartner estimates that Canadian phone maker BlackBerry claimed just 0.2 per cent of sales in Q1, down from 0.4 per cent in 2015. It adds that the feature can be used when holding a phone in a vertical position.

While it offers a way for Microsoft engineers to hear what users think of Windows 10 as it evolves, the app also offers insiders a content feed to help them stay abreast of all the changes coming to Windows 10 in Microsoft's Fast and Slow lane builds.

This blow comes just weeks after Kantar Worldpanel ComTech revealed that Windows Phone now holds less than five per cent of the European market, and that all the firm's future hopes ride on the long-rumoured Surface Phone devices.

Overall, worldwide smartphone sales topped 349 million units in the first quarter of the year, driven mainly by low-end smart devices in emerging markets and cheaper 4G phones.

Users of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL will finally get the Forced HDR mode, which means that they will be able to click photos any time they want. Microsoft's screen size requirement for Windows 10 Mobile now includes devices up to 9 inches in size, which includes both phablets and tablets.

Gartner's findings come close on the heels of Microsoft's announcement last week that it is selling off its feature phone business, which it acquired from Nokia in 2013 for over $7 billion, to Nokia partner HMD Global Oy and Foxconn subsidiary FIH Mobile Ltd.
