Microsoft said its latest preview build of Windows 10 arrives with some features that are high on the wish lists of developer "Insiders", in particular, extensions for the Edge browser. With this move of Microsoft, the Windows Mobile fans are angry over the U-Turn of Microsoft on Windows 10 upgrade. Microsoft is not making good on its promise that all Windows phones will be getting the upgrade to the Windows 10 Mobile OS. There were rumors that the update was going to be delayed by months. It seems that more "refinements" are required in order to make sure that the next Windows 10 build will be more "attractive" for the average consumers and companies.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 will also be launched in 2017.

In addition, the Surface Pen is expected to come with new improvements. Microsoft further explained, "As Windows 10 delivers significant new innovations, many older devices are not able to successfully upgrade without an impact on the customer experience". The biggest change is expected to come out in the branding strategy and the Windows Phone devices shall now be looked as business phones.

Also, the software company will reintroduce the Placeholders feature in the forthcoming Windows 10 Redstone release, according to Windows Central. If you found your device on the list and want to upgrade, download the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor app from the Windows Store to begin the upgrade process.

With the arrival of the surface phone, many things are expected to change in the way Microsoft works.
