AT&T's Lumia 1520 is finally getting the Windows 10 Mobile official update

Their entry into the hardware business has been marked by the acquisition of Nokia Mobiles, and the company acquired millions of the Nokia users with it. Keeping in mind the interests of these older Nokia Lumia users, Microsoft, in the month of March, made the Windows 10 Mobile OS available for these older devices.

But if you simply must do this, it's easy enough: Just download and install the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor app on the Lumia.

The good news is that the debate is over as Verizon has confirmed that the Lumia Icon will be receiving its upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile.

As always, your first step in upgrading your Lumia 1520 to Windows 10 Mobile is to install the Upgrade Advisor app and run it.

The update is now available to download for the two AT&T Lumia 1520 users who aren't on the Insider preview at the moment (- and the rest of you really shouldn't wait). Verizon suggests that once you have received notification that the update has arrived on your phone, make sure that the handset is either connected to a Wi-Fi network, or has a strong Verizon cellular signal.

"This list includes a limited set of Windows Phone 8.1 devices and does not include some devices that are now running Windows 10 Mobile in the Windows 10 Mobile Insider program".

The file size is 750MB and a older build of Windows 10 Mobile (10586.107) while a subsequent over-the-air update will push it up to the latest Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.420.

To get the upgrade, you will need to download the Upgrade Advisor app from the Store and have your phone charged at least 40% to take the update.
