Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Mobile with its flagship Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL devices. These include the Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia 930, Lumia 640, Lumia 640XL, Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 635 1GB, Lumia 636 1GB, Lumia 638 1GB, Lumia 430 and Lumia 435. Because HERE Maps is deeply integrated in Windows Phone 8, the apps will continue to work on that version of the Windows Mobile operating system, however there will be no new features developed and updates will be limited to security updates. It will then download and install Windows 10 on their mobile. Microsoft will need to clarify how Windows 10 games and apps will function on the console and we should get all of this info at the Build conference later this month.

T-Mobile has offered quite a few Windows Phone 8.1 devices in the past, and anyone that's still rocking one today is probably wondering when they'll get an update to Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft's latest mobile OS.

Because of the size of the update, a Wi-Fi Internet connection is required for download and installation. If yes, are you happy with your Windows 10 phone now? Please tell us in the comments if you're going to miss the Photosynth app.

Microsoft is also working on adding a pinned tabs feature to "Edge", which is common among most of the popular browsers. Microsoft has published a complete list of compatible Windows Phone 8.1 devices on its website.

However, Microsoft said not all devices will be receiving the bump to Windows Mobile 10, admitting that it likely won't do much good for the performance of older devices.

Jason Ronald, principal group program manager for Microsoft Game Studios, revealed the Xbox One's upcoming support for Windows 10 universal apps at this week's Game Developers Conference, Business Insider reported on Thursday. Sources familiar with the company's plans told VentureBeat that the software giant will announce the same-day availability of Windows 10 Mobile on March 17.

Originally slated to roll out to older devices at the end of 2015, Windows 10 Mobile has already been available on some newer handsets that shipped with the operating system installed.
