Windows Phone developer says Microsoft Didn't Pay For Nearly Half A Year

Microsoft is eliminating the need for third-party apps when it comes to connecting Kinect with Windows 10.

"As our partners and Microsoft ship new Windows 10 mobile devices and existing devices are upgraded to Windows 10, all of our users will start to see more updates coming through Windows Update", he wrote.

"Once you have the preview version of the Kinect for Windows V2 driver (version 2.1.1511.11000 or higher), you can start developing sensor apps for Windows 10 using Visual Studio 2015 with Windows developer tools", a Microsoft forum reports.

Together with the update to Windows 10 and backwards compatibility, games such as "Halo 5: Guardians", "Rise of the Tomb Raider", "Forza Motorsport 6", and "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" should ensure that this festive season delivers the greatest gaming line up in Xbox history.
